Mrs Beatrice Munyenyezi is married to Maurice Shalom Ntahobari the son of Pauline Nyiramasuhuko who was a minister in the Government of Rwanda during the genocide in Rwanda in 1994, both were sentenced to life in jail.
This woman Beatrice Munyenyezi finished her 10-year sentence for “for fraudulently obtaining citizenship[1]”.
At this point, Beatrice Munyenyezi is being held at an immigration detention Center in Baton Rouge, New Orleans Lousiana where she might be sent to Rwanda.They are worries that when Beatrice Munyeynyezi gets to Rwanda, she will be tortured and treated awfully given the Human Right watch record of Rwanda and jailing of anybody that speaks against the Rwanda government.
The recent jailing of Mrs Yvonne Idamange for speaking her mind on her YouTube channel raises a big question about Rwanda judicial system.
The kidnapping of Paul Rusesabagina from Dubai, United Arab Emirates by the Rwandan government shows that Rwanda would go to any length to silence anybody that is not pro-government. This act of kidnapping, shows that the government of Rwanda does not play by the law that govern the free world we live in.
Sending Beatrice Munyenyezi to Rwanda will be like send her in a lion’s den.
